OpenAI's Sora 2 AI platform was there for a good time, not a long time. Designed to function like a TikTok-style social media feed, it never quite found an audience. But for a few glorious months, things got weird and magnificent.

I, for one, turned individual Sora clips into minute-long sketch comedy shows, including the Burning Man themed Magnificent Minute Show, and Scottish Movie Night, a weekly tribute to some classics of Scottish cinema (which were usually Trainspotting and the Wicker Man).

Other AI platforms now offer similar features, such as the ability to create your own avatar. But it's not the same.
